A couple of years ago when Loek was still very little and just started walking I was looking for some slippers for him to wear to keep his little toes warm and prevent him from slipping while he was trying out his new skills. We have a very slippery floor and I had al these horrible images in my head of what could happen to him when he would fall. And there I had my excuse to go and buy something new :-). I found adorable slippers from Collégien. These hip slippers are beautiful and stylish and are perfect for little happy feet! They are made from a breathable and machine washable fabric (30 degrees) and they come in all kinds of cool and lovely designs. They also have a perforated breathable and non-slip sole.

The Collégien slippers are made in France and it is a family business that started in 1947! Every year they introduce a new collection in different themes like Alice in wonderland, Circus or just purely graphical. They often collaborate with other brands like Nununu for the design of the slippers. From day one I’m a big fan and I buy a new pair every year for the boys. They are also perfect for the little ones when they start standing up and try their first steps. Ideal for daycare and travelling. They start from size 18 and up, theextra good news is that they have adult sizes too! So you can put your feet in these really comfortable, hip slippers too.
